Terms of Use

These conditions apply whenever you browse, read, or use a search tool on Roberts County Criminal History. Continued use signals acceptance of every term below. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the site.

NO FCRA USE. Roberts County Criminal History is privately operated and has no government affiliation. Neither this resource nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or other decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its sole function is to help readers locate criminal-record resources in Roberts County and Texas. It is neither a private investigative firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a government office. It cannot retrieve or store official criminal records, conduct an official check, or submit a filing for a visitor.

The content routes readers to the Roberts County Sheriff, the criminal courts, the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and outside tools that may assist with lawful personal research.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on the following limits. You must not:

  • Use the service in violation of federal, state, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or target a person with information found here
  • Rely on site content for housing, hiring, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
  • Deploy automated scrapers, bots, or similar collection tools
  • Interfere with site access, operation, or performance

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to intimidate, stalk, threaten, harass, or discriminate against another person. Misuse may also violate criminal law. Texas registry data is provided for public safety awareness, and Chapter 62 does not authorize vigilantism, blacklisting, confrontation, or housing discrimination against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Roberts County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not create a credit report, background report, or any other consumer report. Its advertising partners are likewise not presented as tools for decisions about applicants, renters, insurance, or credit. Site and linked-tool data may not be used to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a housing or rental application
  • Set insurance terms or assess credit
  • Determine eligibility for a benefit, permit, or license where the FCRA applies
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

A check for a regulated purpose must come from an authorized source that follows the governing law, such as an appropriate Texas DPS channel or a compliant consumer reporting agency.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is general information, not legal advice. It cannot determine how a Texas charge, conviction, warrant, expunction, or nondisclosure rule applies to a particular person. A licensed Texas attorney can give that advice.

6. No Warranties

All material and functions are offered "as is." No warranty promises that:

  • Information will always be complete, accurate, or current
  • Access will be uninterrupted
  • The pages will have no errors, bugs, or security weaknesses
  • An outside search provider will return a complete or correct result

Charges, dispositions, expunction orders, and nondisclosure status can change after publication. Gaps and delays are therefore possible. No text here is an official statement from the Roberts County Sheriff, a court, Texas DPS, or any other agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to sheriff, court, state-agency, legal-aid, and outside search websites. Those destinations operate independently. We do not control their content, fees, data practices, availability, or results, and their own terms should be reviewed before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Roberts County Criminal History or its content partners own the site's text, graphics, logos, and code. Copying, adapting, distributing, or creating derivative material requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the greatest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for losses arising from site use, including reliance on information obtained here or from a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, actions, and related legal costs caused by your site use or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute tied to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised. An updated version takes effect when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected term will be limited only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these conditions may be submitted through the Contact page.
